Happy Ending on The Voice

The Voice is back with three of its original voices. The first blonde beauty on the show, Christina Aguilera, returns as a judge after taking a two season absence. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have stayed with the show since its beginning, while Pharrell Williams returns for his second consecutive season.

During the season 8 premiere, there were several outstanding performances that earned contestants 4-chair turnarounds from the judges. Yet, the standout performance of the night actually came from a contestant that failed to advance to the next round. Sixteen-year-old Bryce Sherlow performed an unsuccessful version of "Cool Kids" by Echosmith, but she felt like the coolest kid in America when Pharrell joined her on stage to perform a duet to his song "Happy". This adorable TV moment represents the shows feel good supportive spirit, and left Bryce and viewers at home with a "Happy' ending.
