IMAGE ROCKS

Anthony Anderson made his second host appearance tonight at the 46th NAACP Image Awards.
The “Black-ish” star brought laughs to the audience from the beginning of the show with his comical song
poking fun at other
award shows like the Grammys.
Anderson kept the laughs going with his acceptance speech for outstanding actor in a comedy series, which was presented to him by Uzo Aduba and co-star Tracee Ellis Ross. Anderson wasn’t all jokes during the night, he made sure to bring focus to some serious issues. With all the violence and injustice going on within the African American community, he took the time to show gratitude to all the people that continue to fight for black rights. Anthony shared the stage with a variety of extraordinary celebrities.
Stars like Russell Simmons to Kerry Washington and even Oprah Winfrey took the stage to present the awards of the night. Roland Martin and Affion Crockett held it down for the backstage pass.
