Jody wants a piece of Empire

15 years after their silver screen debut, it looks like singer/actor, Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson could be reuniting, this time on the small screen. We all remember the first time we were introduced to Jody and Yvette in 2001 in the very popular film 'Baby Boy'. It seemed like the perfect hood love story, right? Well, it looks like Jody may be coming for his woman; but this time her name is Cookie. 

It hasn't been confirmed yet---- but Tyrese wasn't too shy about sharing with IG and FB that he might be among other star guests to appear on Fox's hit show Empire for its second season.

Danny Strong and Lee Daniels, the creators the hit show, have done a pretty good job of bringing the star power to Empire. From appearances by Snoop Dogg, Naomi Campbell, Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, Jennifer Hudson and to legendary singer  and dancing with the stars contestant Ms. Patti LaBelle-- the show does not disappoint. 

But are the viewers truly ready for a Jody and Yvette, reunion? As they say, reuniting and it feels so good.
