Carrie Underwood reveals post baby bod, racks up at CMT Music Awards

Carrie Underwood revealed her smoldering post-baby body at last night’s CMT Music Awards and she is something bad! The singer gave birth to a baby boy, Isaiah Fisher, in February. While ripping the runway in a white and pewter Thomas Wylde dress, the former American Idol also took home several awards. This was the first appearance for the new mom since giving birth.

                How could we forget the soulful southern belle that stole our hearts a decade ago on the American Idol stage? Well that starlet, now 32, is a new mom, a wife and a Grammy award winning artist. Since Idol, Carrie has been busy making music that has warmed the hearts of country music lovers worldwide. In 2008, the singer became the youngest member of the Grand Ole Opry. That same year, Carrie met her now husband, Mike Fisher, a professional hockey player for the Nashville Predators. Two years later the pair were wed. Amid her pregnancy announcements last year, it seems that the mommy-to-be just wanted her old body back.

In a statement to people.com, the singer professed that she was:

“looking forward to reclaiming my body. I’ve been saying it’s been on loan for the past couple months.”

During her pregnancy not only were rumors circulating about a divorce, rumors also began to speculate that Underwood was not happy with her body and was suffering from depression. While none of the rumors were confirmed, Underwood did state in the same interview with People.com that:

“Even when I feel pretty large, it really is such a miracle and such a beautiful thing.”

                Nearly five months after giving birth to her son, the mom is beautiful as ever! Her look at last night’s awards show was styled by celebrity stylist Marina Toybina. Underwood won three awards last night including “video of the year” for her single “Something in the Water.” No stranger to making history (remember that thing about the Grand Ole Opry,) she broke her own record as the most decorated winner in CMT history. Whether we are reeling over her post baby body, or cooing at her adorable little son, Carrie Underwood always ensures that she leaves us blown away!
