Exclusive First Look At Empire Season 2

Here's what we know about season 2 of Empire so far:

1)      The fun has just begun: Fox has confirmed that shooting for Season 2 of Empire has officially commenced!

2)      Parts of season 2 will take place in a jail: As we know, season 1 ended with Terrence Howard receiving murder charges. Sneak peaks from Lee Daniel's Instagram account include a whole lot of orange jumpsuits and a whole lot of Chris Rock. (This leads us to number 3) 

3)    Chris Rock and others will be guest starring on Empire: The original cast is set to return with Gabourey Sidibe and Ta'Rhonda Jones being promoted to series regulars. Guests and recurring characters will include Chris Rock, Adam Rodriguez, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys.

4)    The season will premiere on September 23: The first episode will be called “ The Devils Are Here” and will be shown at 9:00pm EST on FOX. The show will run for 9 episodes before taking a brief hiatus around New Year's. Then it will resume with 9 more episodes afterward.

5) Taraji P Henson and Terrence Howard are set to be on Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle to go head on in a lip sync battle! 

6)  It's going to be amazing!
