Fashion Flicks of the Summer

The summer is heating up, and 2015 summer films are looking better than ever—literally. With new flicks like Entourage, which is based on the HBO show and the millionth (okay, 5th) installment of Mission: Impossible, the theaters will leave you wanting to change your outfit. In case your biggest inspiration when it comes to fashions is the movies, here are five films that you don't want to miss this summer when it comes to style.

Movie: Entourage
Release Date: June 3, 2015
Style: European-inspired American elite

Characters will be donning trendy, everyday attire and of course suits when they are at their most fashionable. In case you've been keeping up with TV fashion, the character Ari Gold will be elegantly dressed by Italian designer, Domenico Vacca who also dresses Terrence Howard on Empire and Glenn Close on Damages.

Movie: Magic Mike XXL
Release Date: July 1, 2015
Style: Nakedness (or Jeans and Hats)

If you want to see how many ways Channing Tatum and his colleagues can pull off (both fashion-wise and stripping-wise) denim and head-gear, this is the movie for you. Mike Bomer's studded belt looks pretty nice too. We wonder how long it will stay on.

Movie: Terminator Genisys
Release Date: July 1, 2015
Style: Island-robot chic

This classic series gets a reboot this summer, and so does its fashion. Apparently, the Governator, Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be wearing island-inspired pieces from a new menswear line called the Lakai Collection. This is a new line belonging to Skydance Productions CEO David Ellison, one of the movie's producers. Can someone say product placement?

Movie: Mr. Holmes
Release Date: July 15, 2015
Style: Throwback Brit (BritBack)

Ian McKellen will be playing a 93-year old version of this classic character. The costume choices seem classic too—no glitzy Terminator suits for him. McKellen will wear what appear to to be tweed suits, overcoats, and a fun top hat. Plus he gets to use a classy-looking cane.

Movie: Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation
Release Date: July 31, 2015
Style: Black is the New Black

Looks like actors in this installment of the series will be wearing black action-inspired gear. With boots, spandex, and guns, this movie has it all. Plus, in some scenes from set photos, the actors appear to be wearing coats, so perhaps some fun, climate-educed action will occur.
