NBC You Later--“You’re Fired, Trump!”

Catch this tea, NBCUniversal has decided to sever all ties with Donald Trump since his recent comments on immigration weren’t so nice. This comes as a huge blow to the business tycoon since the Miss USA pageant was set to air in just two weeks. Its sister pageant, Miss Universe, was set to air in January. The pageants were jointly owned by both NBC and Donald Trump, so Trump needs to find another network to host it (and fast) if he wants them to continue.

The fallout came after Trump said that our southern neighbors bring drugs, crime, and rapists into America during his presidential announcement speech. Charming, right? This caused the pageant’s other network, Univision to step down from airing the show. Co-host of the pageant, Roselyn Sanchez also stepped down.

Over 200,000 people signed online petitions for NBC to sever ties with the pageant. The network initially stated that it disagreed with Trump's stance on immigration, but protesters didn't think that was good enough. After legal negotiations, NBC officially decided to break up with Trump on Monday. Trump still wants to sue because their recently-signed 5-year contract was violated. He said, “They will stand behind lying Brian Williams, but won't stand behind people that tell it like it is, as unpleasant as that may be.”Sorry Trump, it's time for you and your hair to run for the border because you're fired! Not even a Trump check can get him out of this mess.

NBC is still deciding the fate of Celebrity Apprentice this fall. Since the show is licensed by Mark Burnett's United Artists Media group, it could still continue, perhaps with a different host, I hear NeNe Leakes is available! She's a rich chick herself!
