Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert split

Talk about a blow to country music, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have come to the end of the road. The two are calling it quits after four years of marriage. The pair are country music royalty and have collaborated together on numerous projects.

               

After their rustic chic wedding in 2011, the duo became a power couple. Shelton, 39, and Lambert, 31, were famous for writing numerous chart topping songs together. Despite rumors of unfaithfulness, a source told US Weekly that the split had to do with demanding schedules and not spending enough time together.

The couple’s source also said that according to Shelton and Lambert, “this is not the future we envisioned.” Of course, the couple spent many interviews gushing over each other, so what happened? Let’s just hope Miranda’s no crazy ex-girlfriend.
