Eminem pens letter to mother of Tupac Shakur

Everyone’s favorite hip hop Mr. Hyde has proved that the real Slim Shady has a soft spot. Eminem’s penned letter to the mother of the late rapper Tupac Shakur, is on display at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Georgia. The rapper paid tribute to both Shakur and his mother in the letter.
Not one to display emotions, Eminem has gotten a rap sheet of trouble and derangement according to some. His weird ways are often displayed in some of his songs, but this side of him comes as a surprise to most. In the letter, Eminem opens up about the influence Tupac had on his life. “When I was feeling at my worst, I Knew I could put a Tupac tape in and suddenly things weren’t so bad.”

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, also showed love to Afeni Shakur, Tupac’s mother calling her a true queen. Tupac himself also wrote an ode to his mom entitled “Dear Mama,” which is one of his widely known hit songs. The letter also included a hand drawn portrait of Tupac by
EmInem. Who says hard core rappers don’t have feelings?
