Miley Cyrus Sounds Off On “Bad Blood” Video

One thing  we all know about Miley Cyrus is that she is not one to bite her tongue. During an interview for Marie Claire magazine, she opened up about her dislike for Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video. The pop star explained that she didn’t get the “violence revenge thing.” Throughout the video, Swift is seeking revenge against an ex friend, with the help of her current friends. Miley thinks that this video isn’t a good example, and even compared it to the backlash she always receives, “And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my tits out? I’m not sure how tits are worse than guns.” Miley may not support the use of guns in the Bad Blood video, but verbal shots were just fired on her end.

Taylor Swift’s video wasn’t the only topic Miley sounded off on. She also talked about the double standards in the music industry. She made a valid point when she mentioned how male rappers like Kendrick Lamar could rap about LSD, and be considered cool. But when she does it, she’s automatically considered a druggie whore. Regardless of what people say about Miley, she continues to live her life without fear of the next man’s opinion, and mentioned that she doesn’t stress it too much.

Miley Cyrus is set to host the 2015 Video Music Awards. It looks like she will not be able to escape the bad blood, because the music video has several nominations, including Video of the Year.
