"Rumor Had It” that Justin Bieber was the cause of Adele’s disastrous Grammy performance and of course these rumors were false. The “Hello” songstress appeared on Ellen to give her account of what actually happened during her performance. The singer admitted to her poor presentation and added that she cried the entire day after the award show.

“The microphones fell onto the piano strings which is what the guitar noise was. Some people thought it was Bieber rehearsing,” she explained. “I heard is straight away. I wanted to turn; I knew what it was because in rehearsal on Saturday they said ‘We’re going to double mic the piano.’ I wanted to turn around and lift it up but I froze! I was so embarrassed.”

 

Don’t be so hard on yourself Adele! Mariah Carey or Miley Cyrus could always give you advice on coping with a dud performance… “Don’t You Remember”?
