Billboards 2016

The 2016 Billboard awards opened with two entertainers that weren’t very entertaining, the hosts themselves. Ciara was stunning the entire night and gave us life with every outfit she wore, but the hosting duo with Ludacris turned out to be Ludicrous. The hosts were flat and didn’t carry the show as they should have. The show received a devastating 3.1 rating from viewers all over who seemed highly unsatisfied.

The awards gave us fleeky fashion all night. Britney Spears shows some skin in a black detailed ensemble followed by a shear and dramatic train and gives us her usual beach blonde hair. Ciara flaunts a gorgeous platinum gown, and shows some side boob. Rihanna does a short and polished messy hair-do with a dark green buttoned to the side dress with a stunning shoe.

What type of shade would the ‘Prince’ of shade have thrown at his dear friend Madonna if he had seen her tribute last night? Madonna’s tribute leaves fans outraged. She came out in a “Prince” purple suit and the Las Vegas arena was lit in purple while she performed. She was later joined by legend Stevie Wonder, but her vocals just weren’t up to par.

After finally being granted to perform on stage by her label, Kesha’s come-back performance came out as the highlight performance of the night. She switched up her usual style and took it back to a Bob Dylan cover with the classic It ain’t me babe.

Rihanna never disappoints and gave a performance to remember. The unapologetic pop-star performed her new record from Anti,  “Love on the Brain” with an Etta James feel and kills it.

Britney Spears also had all eyes on her as she took the stage and did a phenomenal job. She left her fans speechless and viewers everywhere are overwhelmed by her great performance. She went down her 18 year long playlist and gave the crowd a blast to the past.

Demi Lovato stands up for trans rights during her performance and receives a huge amount of appreciation from viewers.

BET throws the ultimate shade on Madonna’s tribute to Prince on their twitter page. A promo video was put out telling their viewers ‘Yeah we saw that. Don’t worry. We got you.’
