Lemonade’s alleged ‘Becky with the good hair’ was also in the room that night, but Beyonce’s look is screaming ‘don’t hurt yourself’ with a dramatic brim hat and classic Givenchy pin-striped suit embellished with a little sparkle.

The 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards took place on Monday, June 6 in New York City. The annual event recognizes contributions made to American fashion and awards recipients for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement. Nominations for each award category are submitted by The CFDA Fashion Awards Guild.
