Hamilton’s tribute to Orlando has given  viewers everywhere a new respect for broadway. Lin-Manuel Miranda gave a heart-felt speech, bringing the audience to tears. Creater and star of the musical recited after receiving an award for best original score, “When senseless acts of tragedy reminds us that nothing here is promised. Not one day.” and “This show is proof that history remembers, we live through times when hate and fear seem stronger, we rise and fall and light from dying embers, remembrances that hope and love last longer. Love is love is love is love is love, and love cannot be killed or swept aside. Fill the world with music, love and pride.” The Hamilton cast removed all guns from their performance, showing respect to Orlando.
