Tupac’s Birthday Celebrated With ‘Tupac Shakur Day’
In honor of the late rapper, the city of Oakland has deemed Tupac's birthday, June 16th, Tupac Shakur Day. Oakland’s mayor Libby Schaaf declared the news yesterday. Tupac would've been forty-five years of age if he were still with us. Though he's gone, his legacy will always live on. Tupac wasn't born in Oakland, but often times he expressed that he claimed the city as his “home”. What better way to celebrate a legend, right?
