Our Favorites Who Hit the #NYFW17 Runway

What’s the fun in fashion week without a few surprises walking down the runway? Many designers reached out to celebrity models or music artists to walk in their shows this season and it was amazing.

Kendall Jenner debuted her new short haircut walking the runway for Michael Kors and Anna Sui— Instagram famous models Gigi Hadid and her sister, Bella Hadid joined the Jenner sister in the Anna Sui show on the last day of fashion week. It was refreshing to see someone from the Kardashian-Jenner clan walk the runway with real body parts. Yes, we said it!

Phillip Plein had a star-studded runway as he incorporated the rap industry into his show tremendously. Some of the artists he included in his show were: Desiigner, Fetty Wap, and Young Thug. Not only did some of the most popular artists walk the runway, but Phillip Plein also had Nas perform his late 90’s hit, “If I ruled the world.”

Rookie USA might’ve topped Phillip Plein with celebrity runway sightings, but with their children! The brand that is a collection of brands including Jordan and Nike had celeb children walk the runway from Fabulous’ son, DJ Envy’s daughter, Kevin Jonas’ daughter, the adorable McClure twins who stole the show, and more.  The proud parents all sat in the crowd while the excited kids danced down the runway and took selfies for hours in the dressing room when the show was over.

Celebrity sightings on the runway is no surprise, especially during New York Fashion Week, but it is always exciting to see what celebs what and what designers they choose to work with.
