When it comes to the Oscars, celebs know to bring their A- game.

While there were plenty of stars that knocked it out of the park, there was another set of famous faces that didn't quite get it right. Not to say it was a total fail but overall, their gowns didn’t have that wow factor. Here are the top 5 celebs that will have you doing a double-take for all the wrong reasons.

Scarlet Johansson

We’re all here for this edgy new cut but dress wise she missed the mark. This pink floral dressed and studded belt combo feels too busy and informal.

Ginnifer Goodwin

 This actress stood out in a overly bright red dress by Zuhair Murad competing with the red carpet… and the carpet won. 

Blanca Blanco

Blanca wore a bold yellow dress but with oversized puffy sleeves and sky-high split which resulted to a fashion malfunction where the sun don’t shine. 

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann appeared to be channelling Belle in Beauty and The Beast vibes in her over the top yellow strapless gown by Zac Posen. 

Dakota Johnson 

The Fifty Shades of Grey star looked like she was auditioning for a role in a period drama in a silk Gucci gown. Dakota lacked something of the razzle dazzle fitting of an Oscars ensemble.
