There's 'Moore' to the Cast of Empire

Empire is set to welcome Demi Moore as the newest cast member of the hit TV series. The show is connecting family ties as Moore’s daughter, Rumer Willis, was earlier confirmed to be a guest star. Willis will make her debut after the show returns on March 22 and Moore will appear in the season 3 finale following a recurring role in season 4.
Demi’s role is a “take-charge nurse with a mysterious past” who somehow, like many other characters, becomes entangled with the Lyons family drama. Rumer will play a singer-songwriter named Tory Ash, who gets taken under Jamal’s wing for his newest musical project.
The casting is a little out of the blue since Moore hasn't been on TV since a 2003 episode of Will & Grace, and hasn't had a recurring role on TV since the 80’s soap opera General Hospital. However ,Willis has appeared on numerous TV shows over the years, including Pretty Little Liars, Workaholics, and 90210.  Viewers can also look forward to guest appearances from Mariah Carey, Eva Longoria, Taye Diggs, Phylicia Rashad and Nia Long. The drama we all know and love returns Wednesday, March 22 on Fox.
