Kendrick Lamar Humbles Women

The rap world was on edge after Kendrick dropped his new single The Heart Part 4. He came at some of rap’s top faces and also showed why he is not one to play with but on his latest song and video entitled Humble he came at a different audience, women, which started some serious uproar.

On the song Kendrick states:

 “I’m so f***in’ sick and tired of the Photoshop

Show me somethin’ natural like an Afro on Richard Pryor

Show me somethin’ natural like a** with some stretch marks

Still will take you down right on your mama’s couch in polo socks”

            The Twitter response from women was mixed with some appreciation, controversy and straight saltiness. Downplaying video vixens and Instagram baddies is definitely out the usual for a rapper. Kendrick talks about the beauty of black women with natural hair and stretch marks in a time where that depiction seems to be extinct. Whether it was appreciation or disrespect, it’s obvious that Kendrick could care less.

            Kendrick is scheduled to drop his album April 7^th and we can expect more humbling lines to whatever is on K Dot’s mind.  Until then read some tweets below and stick with TMB for updates.
