Why Does Beyonce Look so Strange?

Recently on the social media platform, fans are curious and extremely confused as to why the Madame Tussauds wax figure of our beloved Beyonce looks nothing like her. Sure they've got the blonde, beach-wave hair, and her signature flashy and glamorous outfits right, but when it comes to the physical features that stand out on Queen Bey, Tussauds is lacking. Many fans even deemed it was a form of 'whitewashing', and felt it was an outright act of disrespect towards Mrs. Carter. Due to the outrage by the former Destiny Child's singers "Beyhive", Madame Tussauds' company released a statement in regards to the wax figures dissembled appearance.

A spokesman for the wax-figure company told TheWrap, "At Madame Tussauds, our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately color match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted." "Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the color of our wax figures which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage."

The team at Madame Tussauds claims that the picture shown above is the correct and most accurate representation of the "Run the World" diva, and that the photo on the right, posted by a random twitter-user, is a distorted form. The photo on the right, however, was what started the online outrage of many of her devoted fans, and fans of the wax-museum in general. The twitter user that posted the picture on the right said, "Beyonce' wax figure at @MadameTussauds is FIERCE!" However, many people fought to disagree with this fans 'fierce' opinion. One user, who was in obvious disposition, was completely taken back and clapped-back at the user by saying, "It's a good thing you're not talking about Beyonce. cause this white woman is definitely not her." This was just one of the many angry and disappointed comments on the issue.

Madame Tussauds has been known to accurately capture the underlining features of each celebrity and figure it brings into its home, but that seems to be not enough when they don't quite capture everyone's favorite 'Queen'. Let's just hope they don't have the same issue when they reach out to little Miss Blue Ivy; then they'll actually have to face the momma bee herself.
