Sister, Sister Reboot in the Works
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Tamera Mowry-Housely
told them that she and her sister are currently working on producing a reboot
of the popular show, Sister, Sister. She told the magazine, "We are progressively
moving forward to make this happen".
The original show told the story
of twins who were switched at birth and reunite when their single parents are
married and move them in together.
In 2015, a reboot was first
hinted at by Tia Mowry, saying that it was highly requested by fans and that
they would probably do something for them.
The Media Brew editor, April
Woodard, interviewed Tia Mowry on August 29th, 2017, for a story
about the advantages of paperback books over electronic copies. However, at the
end of the interview, Woodard asked Mowry about the possibility of a reunion
and she said, “we are definitely working on making fans happy, let’s just say
that”.
So be on the lookout for a new
show in the coming months as the twins return to the TV screen together!
