Mama Lynch Comes to the Defense of her Football Superstar Son
Little did Trump know, he had made a fumble on the play.
Lynch’s
mother, Delisa Lynch, was instantly on the offensive, pointing to the
fact that Trump was unable to become the owner of a football team when
looking. She later posted a tweet about Cowboys owner Jerry Jones also
sitting for the national anthem, saying “so whats wrong with FOLLOWING
the leader ?”
This is not the first time his mother has
come to his defense, however. In 2014, she called out a sports writer
who said his team was able to succeed without him as well as calling out
the Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator for a play call made the
caused her son's team to lose the 2015 Superbowl game.
Lynch’s decision to sit is a part of a string of
protests by sports players, who are looking to bring attention to racial
injustice.
