Tiffany Haddish breaks historical barriers as the first African-American female comedian to host the sketch show Saturday Night Live on Saturday.

Not only did the Girls Trip, star rock the stage,  but she also tackled big topics ranging from the latest fashion to sexual harassment. Haddish even included comical Mortal Kombat and rapper, Cardi B. sketches, truly making this episode one for the record books.

Fans took to social media to express their shock that this is the first time a black female comic has hosted the show in its 43 seasons and to applaud Haddish for her groundbreaking performance.

Lets just say, those who didn’t know Haddish, from watching the movie Girls Trip, received a warm welcome into her comedic genius.
