America’s New Top Model

Do you want to be on top? Of course you do, and so does newcomer model Danielle Herrington. Herrington is the 2018 cover girl for the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover, making her the third African American woman to ever grace the annual publication.This is a major deal for Herrington. This is her first cover ever and we hope it’s not her last! She follows behind the likes of legends Tyra Banks, who appeared on the cover in 1997 and Beyonce in 2005.

It was Banks who had the honor of breaking the exciting news to Herrington, and it was nothing less than Black Girl Magic as they both rejoiced in triumph. We hope to see more collaborations with this veteran/rookie combo in the future but for now you can dive into the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition in stores now to see more about our new Cover Girl.
