Dolce & Gabbana: Human Models Vs. Drones

This year’s fashion show for Dolce & Gabbana put a new spin on the term “futuristic fashion”. The Italian brand used about seven drones to show off their new Fall/Winter 2018/19 collection in Milan. Audience members were stunned to see each drone carrying a different luxurious leather or jewel-encrusted handbag.

Although the high-tech show wowed fashion fans, it came with much preparation and a few bumps in the road along the way. The show started 45 minutes late and guests were asked to turn off all hotspots and wifi. Shortly after the parade of drones, human models came down the runway sporting the rest of D&G’s clothing line. Although it is 2018, the future careers of human models still have a fighting chance against drones.
