Prayers to Don Lemon and his family

Don Lemon anchor on CNN lost his “partner in crime”, his older sister, L’Tanya ‘Leisa’ Lemon Grimes in a freak fishing accident. Leisa was 58 years old. in a (of Louisiana) fishing accident.

Lemon Grimes was on a fishing trip in Denham Springs, Louisiana when she tripped and fell into a pond. According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s office, this is being ruled as an “accident and do not suspect foul play.”

The beloved CNN host, Don did not report to work Thursday to spend much needed time with his family and to grieve over their loss. Don tweeted thanking fans for the prayers and concerns but ask for privacy.

“Our family has suffered the tragic loss of L'Tanya 'Leisa' Lemon Grimes and we are leaning on each other for strength at this time. We appreciate privacy as we grieve the loss of our loved one.”
