Miley Cyrus hit with $300 million lawsuit!

Miley Cyrus gets hit like a wrecking ball, when Jamaican songwriter Michael May sues her for $300 million for copyright infringement. Michael claims her 2013 hit, "We Can't Stop," copies more than half of his lyrics in his number one Jamaican hit, "We Run Things." He accused Cyrus and her label, RCA Records, of infringing elements such as the phrase “We run things. Things no run we,” which she sings as “We run things. Things don’t run we.” Michael also requested all performances and sales from that record to cease. A representative for Cyrus and RCA told Variety the parties decline to comment on the pending lawsuit.
