Shocking Update on the Death of Prince

Singer, producer and legend, Prince Rogers Nelson was pronounced dead in April 2016. Only 57 years great, Prince’s death was one that shook the nation. While his guitar gently weeps, so did fans worldwide who knew the culture of music and award shows with the presence of Mr. Purple Rain would forever be changed. The cause of death was said to be an accidental overdose of fentanyl, but the Associated Press would determine two years later, just how much fentanyl was in his system.

Toxicology reports revealed that the performer had exceedingly high amounts of fentanyl in his blood, amounts that some would consider to be lethal. The autopsy also reveals that the amount of fentanyl present in his liver was 6 times higher than the average level a human's liver concentration can handle. The lead prosecutor in the case of Prince’s death has not yet made any arrests but is in the process of deciding whether or not to charge anyone.
