LeBron James could Star in New Comedy Film



All-star basketball player, LeBron James, 33, is rumored to possibly be starring in an unnamed upcoming Comedy Film. Back In 2015, James played as himself in the film “Trainwreck” with actress Amy Schumer. This wouldn’t be the first time NBA stars have ventured into another aspect of the business world.

Retired NBA Star Kobe Bryant has also followed this path in which he has won an Oscar for a short film “Dear Basketball”. He also became a huge investor in Body Armor sports drinks. Magic Johnson, was one of the original players that began to venture from basketball into other business developments. Magic Johnson Enterprises has invested in Loews, Baldwin Hills Cinemark, thirty-one Burger King restaurants, and over twelve, 24-hour Fitness Centers.

LeBron James’ production company, Spring Hills Entertainment sold the comedy film to Paramount Players, according to Variety. James and Maverick Carter are set to produce the new film with a possibility that James will also star in it. LeBron is also playing as Gwangia in a newly animated film., “Small Foot” that is set to be released later this year.
