DON’T TIP IMMIGRANTS OR DON’T SERVE THE BIGOTS?

New Jersey waitress receives “Don’t Tip Immigrants,””  message on receipt from customers. 

The Under the Moon Café took a dive under the sea when a couple enjoying an evening out overheard a waitress speaking Spanish to another customer.

Waitress Lorena Bossi had a wonderful experience serving the guests up until that point and that’s when things took a turn for the worst. The couple left and made their engraving hate-infused mark with the words “Don’t Tip Immigrants,” on the back of the receipt.

They went from cold to hot and turned a black eye to the waitress. Lorena says that immigrants are a huge part of their community and she’s hurt but not broken as she will continue to serve with a smile, even if they come back.

The owner of the restaurant just so happens to be an immigrant and shares that bigotry is not tolerated at his establishment.

Let’s see if our darling guests shall return.
