Jussie Smollet’s First Interview After Attack

Jussie Smollet broke his silence regarding the attack this morning in an interview with Good Morning America.

The Empire Actor was the victim of a racist and homophobic in late January. A few radical Donald Trump supporters, bearing “Make America Great Again” caps, poured bleach over Smollet and tied a noose around his neck. Thankfully, a friend reached out to the authorities on his behalf.

Smollet told viewers that as a gay man he is not weak, and neither is his community. Hopefully, the evidence given in this interview will help police as they have stated that prior evidence was “insufficient” and that the 36-year-old actor was not cooperating. We hope that Smollet gets justice and finds peace!
