Nate Parker Reveals His Next Move during Pan African Film Festival

Nate Parker is on a hot streak! The filmmaker wrapped up shooting for a biopic as well as announcing the release of a four-part documentary commemorating the 400-year anniversary of the first slaves arriving in the United States.

This all took place at the 2019 Pan African Film Festival in LA last weekend, where the Nate Parker Foundation block of the festival gained the largest crowd. Parker also started the HBCU Storytellers project, which has been quite successful as there was a screening for two student films during the festival.
