The Media Brew: 2020 Critics Choice Awards by Deja Hobbs

The Critics’ Choice Awards took place on Sunday, January 12, in Santa Monica. The stars arrived and lit up the blue carpet with their various fashion choices. From floral prints to sequins, it is clear that the celebs did not come to play! Here are some of the top looks from the night:

JLo showed off her figure in a tan gown lined with silver jewels. Her simple, but sleek hairstyle definitely brought the entire look together.

New mom and actress, Anne Hathaway, glowed in a gold sequined dress. She showed off some skin with a plunging neckline. 

Andrew Scott was giving Valentine’s Day vibes with this red suit and silky pink shirt combo. He was honored for his role in “Fleabag” with the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy.

Kristen Bell immediately turned heads with her lime green look. Instead of wearing the traditional gown, she walked the blue carpet in a pantsuit and cape, and fans were definitely here for it!

The “This is Us” actor opted for a burgundy suit for the night. Sterling K. Brown paired the suit with sunglasses that featured burgundy frames.

Actress Chloe Bridges looked absolutely fabulous in a vibrant red dress. The look was made complete with a red clutch.

“This is Us” Actress Mandy Moore looked classy in a black jumpsuit with gold accents and a short, black cape.

Actor Milo Ventimiglia, also a member of the cast of “This is Us” looked dapper in a tan suit jacket and black pants. 

Zendaya stunned in a hot pink skirt and crop top combo. She was praised and made headlines for her choice to wear box braids after receiving criticism from Giuliana Rancic for wearing dreadlocks at the 2015 Oscars.
