Mass Netflix Outage throughout United States

Early Wednesday, a website known as DownDetector, showed hundreds of user-based reports on Netflix outages in locations all over the country. Since many people are now quarantined into their homes because of the spread of COVID-19, people have been using streaming services more than usual. 

There have already been agreements between streaming networks to lower the quality of video so servers don’t crash. Even still, thousands of people are home and have nothing better to do. After being irritated, Netflix  users took their frustration to social media bringing attention to their sneaky tactic.
